JD Power hailed the Porsche 911 as the most dependable model based on its latest study.
According to the 2022 US Vehicle Dependability Study (VDS) conducted by the organization, the iconic sports car registered the lowest problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) last year, which translates to remarkable trouble-free ownership. Based on the study, Porsche 911 came in with a score of 94 PP100.
The latest recognition marks the second year in a row that the Porsche 911 received the top honor in the study and the nameplate’s third over the past four years.
Meanwhile, the Porsche Cayenne is ranked as the most dependable in its segment of upper midsize premium sport utility vehicle.
“It is gratifying to see the work of so many colleagues, both here in the US and in Germany, being rewarded as we all relentlessly focus on meeting and hopefully exceeding the expectations of our customers,” Porsche Cars North America, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Kjell Gruner was quoted as saying.
“This year’s top rankings for the Porsche 911 and the Cayenne exemplify our commitment to designing and delivering exciting vehicles that their owners can depend on, drive after drive,” he added.
Overall, the Stuttgart-headquartered vehicle manufacturer ranked third among the premium brands in the automotive sector.
