Porsche establishes 2 firms to develop electric drive systems for e-bikes
To further increase its activities in the e-bike segment, Porsche has formed two new e-bike companies through two joint ventures with the Dutch company, Ponooc Investment BV. The two new companies are named Porsche eBike Performance and P2 eBike.

Porsche eBike Performance and P2 eBike joins Fazua, a manufacturer of particularly light and compact drive systems for e-bikes recently acquired by the Stuttgart-based automotive brand.
In addition to compact drive systems from Fazua, Porsche eBike Performance will develop and produce particularly powerful e-bike drive systems under the Porsche brand name. These include motors, batteries, and the necessary software architecture for connectivity solutions.
P2 eBike, on the other hand, intends to use these drive systems to launch a new generation of Porsche e-bikes from the middle of this decade.
