Porsche has dropped the details of the upcoming 2022 Panamera Premium Edition, which the German carmaker says will be offered in three exclusive variants: the Panamera, Panamera 4, and Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Platinum Edition.
Porsche said that all three models of the Panamera will offer an even higher level of standard features and are focused on elevating the comfort and convenience of the Panamera — all while sporting an attractive sticker price.
Outside, the Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition features LED Matrix headlights with Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) Plus, air outlet grilles in Satin Platinum finish, and a set of either 20- or 21-inch Exclusive Design Sport Wheels, likewise finished in Satin Platinum.
Porsche added that the 2022 Panamera Premium Edition can be had in 13 different standard and metallic paint colors, four optional special colors, and an even more exclusive custom color offer.
Owners will enjoy a similarly stylish interior with black brushed aluminum trim. They will be greeted by brushed aluminum door sill guards with “Platinum Edition” lettering.
The headrests on all four seats — which feature comfort memory, four-zone climate control, front and rear heated seats, and front-seat ventilation — boast embossed Porsche crests.
Porsche adds that all Panamera Platinum Edition variants feature Adaptive Air Suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), which allows the driver to select different ride heights and levels of firmness, enhancing ride comfort and handling of the luxury saloon.
Blind-spot monitoring (Lane Change Assist) and Power Steering Plus, are standard Platinum Edition features that add to the driver’s convenience.
Furthermore, all Platinum Edition models will also come with the latest-generation Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system – PCM 6.0 – which includes Wireless Android Auto, Wireless Apple CarPlay, and SiriusXM 360L with Bose Surround Sound system fitted as standard.
The price of the Panamera Platinum Edition starts at US$101,900. The Panamera 4 Platinum Edition, which adds all-wheel drive, will start at US$106,000 while the Platinum 4 E-Hybrid Platinum Edition will start at US$115,200.
Panamera Platinum Edition models are expected to reach US dealers in the second quarter of 2022.
