Ram unveils 1500 Revolution BEV Concept
Ram has unveiled the 1500 Revolution battery-electric vehicle (BEV) Concept at the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Per the carmaker, the badge of the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept is animated and modernized.Per the Stellantis-owned brand, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept provides a glimpse into the future and demonstrates how the Michigan-based automaker will once again redefine the pickup truck segment.

At Ram, we’ve redefined what pickup trucks can be, and we will do so again by pushing past what competitors are offering by delivering the best electric pickups on the market,” said Ram Chief Executive Officer Mike Koval Jr.
Outside, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept boasts an animated and modernized “R-A-M” badge. On its side are fully animated LED “turning fork” lights. Bright LED lights have been cleverly integrated into the front bumper flares and advancements in lighting are highlighted by fully animated LED taillamps and badging.
Further, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept features an integrated fascia design with a skid plate and new pivoting tow hooks that can sit flush.
To its side are doors designed without a B-pillar.
Other innovative exterior appointments include a new powered frunk with one-touch open-and-close functionality, a powered charge-port door, a powered tailgate, flush-mounted door handles, powered side steps, and a powered rear step with an active diffuser.
The Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept rides on 24-inch wheels — with center caps that light up and stay in place — shod with 35-inch tires.
Inside, the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept boasts a modern and spacious interior. Taking center stage is a full touchscreen display made up of two screens that measure 28 inches.
Next to it is a flat-top and bottom collapsible steering wheel with capacitive controls, digital screens, and a lit “RAM” badge.
A little to the top is a rearview mirror, which combines leading-edge technology to improve safety and convenience. It is packed with a range of sophisticated technologies, including a smart backup camera with 360-degree views, speakers, and receivers compatible with voice assistants, such as Alexa and Siri.
Rounding up its notable advanced onboard technology are digital side-view mirrors and an augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD).
Atop the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept is an electro-chromatic roof. Pretty much like the panoramic roof with “Variable Light Control” from Porsche, the one installed on Ram’s concept pickup truck offers owners the ability to adjust its opaqueness. Further, the full glass roof with electro-chromatic panels and integrated roof rails features ambient lightning that’s operated through the overhead console.
Powering the Ram 1500 Revolution BEV Concept are two electric drive modules (EDM), which are positioned toward the front and rear of the truck. Performance data is yet to be revealed but the American automotive brand said that the truck can add up to 160 kilometers of range in approximately 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kilowatts.
