Road concreting projects in Davao del Norte’s remote areas now complete

Tomas, and in Barangay Alemag, Carmen.
The 1.08-kilometer, two-lane road in Barangay Balagunan (which was completed last January) costs P12.9 million. On the other hand, the 884-meter, two-lane road in Barangay Alemag (which was finished the following month), amounted to P14.7 million.
“These newly-paved roads are among the recently-completed high-impact projects in the province, helping people get safer and better access to health, education, and economic opportunities,” Caballero was quoted as saying.
The public works department noted that the aforementioned roads are eyed to help farmers and eventually help the province further develop its agri-tourism industry.
