Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is having a special preview of the all-new Triton at the ongoing Auto Focus Pre-Christmas Test Drive Festival (AFPCTDF) 2023.
The aforementioned pick-up truck— particularly its Athlete variant — can be seen inside the Mitsubishi Motors booth at the Mall of Asia Concert Grounds from November 16-19, 2023. However, the much-awaited model has yet to be part of the brand’s test drive units in the event.
Aside from seeing the vehicle in the metal, MMPC said that event goers may also enjoy additional special promos during the four-day outdoor test drive activity.
"This is the best timing to make the all-new Triton yours. Our exclusive promotions which are available for limited time only will provide unmatched value for our customers," MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara said.
To note, the reservation for the all-new Mitsubishi Triton — set to replace the Strada nameplate by next year — started last October 20 and will be up to January 25, 2024. Clients who will pre-order, MMPC added, are also entitled to enjoy more within the said period.
The Japanese automaker’s distributor in the country is retailing the all-new Mitsubishi Triton under the 15-percent all-in down payment option — in partnership with Eastwest Bank.
Current Mitsubishi owners who had their unit serviced in Mitsubishi dealerships within the last 12 months who will reserve and buy the all-new Triton will also enjoy an additional P10,000-discount.
Further, the company will also give all-new Triton buyers a chance to win P15,000 worth of electronic gift card from Philippine Airlines for its upcoming grand raffle draw.
Relatedly, MMPC launched its Refer and Earn promo wherein clients can receive rewards for every successful referral. Both the existing customer/referrer and newly-referred customer will receive cash rewards upon actual release of the unit. Eligible customers may also be one of the 30 winners of the GoPro Hero 11 Creator Edition.
The all-new Mitsubishi Triton boasts aggressive fascia with its square-shaped grille, new headlight design, and the famous dynamic shield design. For its cabin, the vehicle features an updated dashboard and a nine-inch display audio to match the spacious interior.
Dishing out power for the all-new Mitsubishi Triton is a 2.4-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that can give out up to 201 horsepower and 470 Newton-meters of torque.
Moreover, the all-new Mitsubishi Triton is fitted with a newly-developed ladder frame chassis that is set to provide excellent driving performance and good ride comfort.
To be available in seven body color options namely White Diamond, Graphite Gray, Jet Black, Red Solid, White Solid, Yamabuki Orange, and Blade Silver, the all-new Triton will come in seven trims with prices ranging from P1.134 million to P1.915 million.
