Isuzu’s mu-X or “Mysterious Utility eXtreme” has made a name for itself for being a dependable and practical SUV. It offers seating for seven, a capable diesel engine, and looks that demand respect making it a practical ride.
And as expected, the color options that this SUV comes in are as simple and straightforward as the vehicle itself and not as mysterious as its name suggests.
Let’s look at the available color options of the Isuzu mu-X.
Black represents power and dominance, and befits Isuzu’s beefy SUV. under the hood, the mu-X is fitted with a four-cylinder, in-line, Blue Power diesel engine with turbo intercooler. It can produce either 147hp or 174hp depending on the variant.
Cosmic Black is only available for the mu-X 3.0 LS-A 4x2 AT, 3.0 LS-A 4x4 AT, and RZ4E LS 4X2 AT variants.
White gives the mu-X a stylish look. The newly designed chrome grille blends in the glossy white paint of Isuzu’s hunky SUV. Likewise, the chrome accents on the wheels and on the rear are complemented by the achromatic paint.
This paint can be had on all Isuzu mu-X models.
Metallic colors like silver often symbolize dependability. Often seen as an industrial hue, this gives the Isuzu mu-X the look of reliability.
The Isuzu mu-X doesn’t just look the part; it features amenities geared toward safety including an anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), brake override system (BOS), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), hill start assist (HSA), and hill descent control (HDC).
Like the Silky White Pearl paint, Titanium Silver is also available on all mu-X trims.
Isuzu doesn’t provide its customers with a lot of color options, nevertheless, the ones available are simple, safe, and lean towards practicality instead of being flashy.
Isuzu Philippines is offering the mu-X in four variants: the aforementioned 3.0 LS-A 4x2 AT, 3.0 LS-A 4x4 AT, and RZ4E LS 4X2 AT, as well as the RZ4E LS-A 4x2 MT.
