Solarius EV Charging — a sister company of Solarius Energy established in 2017 as a solar installation firm — is looking to “revolutionize” the local electric vehicle (EV) charging landscape.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
How many EV charging stations does Solarius EV Charging have?
Solarius EV Charging now has over 30 chargers at around 20 sites. When will the Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS) take place?
The 11th PEVS will happen from October 19 to 21, 2023 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay. The company has rapidly evolved into an industry staple in EV charging solutions, addressing the needs of urban dwellers and property owners alike.
Solarius EV Charging’s maiden accomplishment was securing the prestigious Fairmont Raffles Hotel in Makati as its flagship location partner. There, it installed three state-of-the-art chargers in the VIP section and one in the basement car park of the hotel, setting the stage for a transformative partnership.
From there, Solarius EV Charging grew its portfolio to over 30 chargers at around 20 sites, including its milestone project at the Raffles Residences — the firm’s first venture into condominium charging solutions.
Per the EV charging company, condominium dwellers have been longing for the convenience of EV charging at home. That said, Solarius EV Charging came up with a convenient solution for urban residents and condominium tenants.
Since Wilson believes that 90 percent of EV charging takes place at home, he explained that the company’s mission is to “bridge the gap between the growing EV market and the urban living experience. We offer a seamlessly connected network of EV chargers that precisely record each charging session down to the watt-hour, ensuring accuracy and transparency.”
The said innovative approach allows city dwellers to enjoy the convenience of home charging while allowing property owners to unlock a new revenue stream.
Property managers may even be eligible for free EV chargers if they choose to offer semi-private charging stations shared by multiple tenants; thereby reducing CAPEX (capital expenditure) costs.
This dual-benefit model has positioned the company as a pioneer in the EV charging industry, setting a new standard for sustainable urban living.
Looking ahead, Solarius EV Charging has ambitious plans to expand its reach across metropolitan cities, aligning with the recent Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act, which mandates that five percent of parking spaces in condominiums be allocated for electric vehicles.
With this mandate, the demand for efficient and scalable EV charging solutions is poised to surge — and according to Solarius EV Charging — the brand is well-prepared to lead this charge.
As part of its commitment to the EV community, Solarius EV Charging is a proud member of the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines. The company will also have a prominent display at the upcoming 11th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit happening at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay on October 19 to 21, 2023.
