Along with a "style that's iconic," the Kia Stonic also brings with it other sassy features.
At 4,100 millimeters long, 1,735mm wide, and 1,532mm tall with a 2,570 mm wheelbase, Kia crossover has the right size for the city. The Stonic's 1.4-liter gas engine, mated to a six-speed automatic or a five-speed manual, promises to deliver ample power and return decent fuel economy.
Equally as appealing are the six stylish shades available with the Stonic.
With such a clean color, the eyes will not be distracted from the Stonic's exterior highlights. These highlights are Kia's Tiger Nose grille, fin type antenna, roof rails, and LED daytime running lamps for the EX model.
Meanwhile, an optional black roof creates a monochromatic mix with the clear white paint. The black roof visually cuts the car's height, and matches with the diamond-cut 16-inch wheels.
It may be named so, but we think Extreme Blue offers a good balance of subtlety and flash.
But when the going does get extreme, the Stonic's 185mm ground clearance is ready. The black underbody cladding should also hold up to debris and dirt.
Flame Orange with Black
The fiery hue is not only a perfect match to the Stonic's character, but to its powertrain as well.
When the driver is in the mood for hot driving, the Stonic's mill with 98hp and 132Nm should perform. The car provides more control to the driver with automatic's manual shifter.
The Stonic's signature color is hard to miss. Even with a black roof, the crossover's loud hue will still make its presence known, especially against the gray urban landscape.
What could also be as loud is the music routed through the Stonic's eight-inch touchscreen audio. The system features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while a USB port and 12-volt socket those mobile phone's won't run out of juice.
Being more subdued than that yellow and orange, this shade of red shows the Stonic's more mature side.
What will keep the Stonic at its prime is Kia's five-year, or 160,000-kilometer warranty. That comes with 24/7 roadside assistance (free for five years), emergency towing, personal assistance, minor onsite repair, medical assistance, and information service.
