Subaru PH Launches Next-Gen Dealership to Meet Global Standards
Motor Image Pilipinas, the authorized distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, recently launched its premier dealership in line with Subaru's next-generation technological standards.
Situated right beside SM Aura in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Subaru Global City is the first dealership that follows the global standard.
Glenn Tan, deputy chairman of Tan Chong International Limited--which distributes Subaru in the ASEAN region--spearheaded the launch of the latest showroom, claiming that the location is perfect for business.
"Here in Global City, the showroom is right in the middle of one of the best retail locations. We want to offer our customers a delightful experience, from the time they step into our showrooms, go for a test drive, purchase the car, and go home as a happy Subaru owner," he said during the launch.
But why is it situated right beside SM Aura? For more foot traffic! Uzzi Asuncion, marketing manager for Motor Image Pilipinas, said that they are targeting the residential areas and the walk-in clients coming from the mall.
Even with a lot area of 271 square meters, it boasts of industry-leading technological breakthroughs with its use of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (VR).
The virtual reality set-up, which is on display at the ongoing 2019 Manila International Auto Show, showcase all Subaru models and their specifications. You can also see the exterior and interior of the preferred vehicle of choice in the programmed VR.
However, the Subaru Global City is the only Subaru dealership in the country that does not have a service bay. Asuncion said that those who need to have their car serviced will be served temporarily by the C5 dealership.
He also said that all the four Subaru dealerships--starting from BGC to Manila, Greenhills, and C5--will all have the AR/VR set-up within the year.
