Subaru is cooking up something special for Levorg fans: the Subaru Levorg 2.0GT Eyesight V-Sport special edition model.
Based on the 2.0GT-S Eyesight grade, this WRX-STI wagon look-alike will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged Boxer engine. It can churn out 296-horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 295 lb-ft of torque at 2,000-4,8000 rpm, which closely matches WRX STI's figures as well.
The special edition Levorg is designed with blacked-out trim pieces. It has side sill spoilers, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and a power-sliding glass sunroof. There's also power-folding door mirrors, with Remote Control Key System, Keyless Access (touch-sensor) and Push-button Start System, and One-touch Turn Signal.
The interior offers a leather sports steering wheel plus a gearshift knob with blue stitching, power windows, map lights, center console box, front cup holders, and door pockets with bottle holders.
Entertainment consists of a 7-inch Display Audio System with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and 6 speakers, Steering Wheel-mounted Audio Remote Control Switches, Voice Recognition System, Dual USB Ports, and Auxiliary Input jack
Its boot offers a retractable cargo cover, with PIN Code Access for added security and safety.
Subaru Levorg comes with Subaru Intelligent Drive that offers three modes: Intelligent Mode, Sport Mode, Sport Sharp Mode. It also has Adaptive Cruise Contol, Auto Vehicle Hold, Active Torque Vectoring, and Electronic Parking Brakes
Subaru offers a lot of safety features. Aside from a 4-sensor/4-channel ABS with Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, ISO-FIX Adapted Child Seat Anchors (with tether anchors), Child-proof Rear Door Locks (both sides), Engine Immobiliser, and Subaru Rear Vehicle Detection (SRVD), the special edition Subaru Levorg also boasts of its famous Eyesight technology.
This technology acts like a driver's second pair of eyes. In fact, Subaru considers it an important part of a driver's pre-collision safety.
The Eyesight is more accurate than the traditional camera and sensor technologies, and its expanded field of vision can see multiple items at the same time. Its cameras have an extended length and width that offers features like Eyesight Assist Monitor, Pre-Collision Braking System, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Lead Vehicle Start Alert, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Sway and Departure Warning.
Sadly, the special edition Subaru Levorg 2.0GT Eyesight V-Sport is only exclusive to the Japanese market. It will be available in dealerships on January 23, 2020
