The said figures translate to a 2.9-percent increase in the company’s Japan sales and a 21.1-percent growth in its overseas sales.
For the month of July alone, Subaru’s overall global sales amounted to 58,586. Of which, 8,141 were its domestic sales while the remaining 50,445 were retailed abroad.
Production-wise, Subaru built 530,652 overall from January-July 2023. Majority of the said number were produced in its local facilities in Japan (338,343 units) while the remaining portion was assembled overseas (192,309).
Last month, Subaru’s global production was at 85,192 units. Per the carmaker, 61,432 came from Japan while 23,760 were built outside of the country.
Subaru did not mention which models were among its top sellers. However, the Philippine arm of the brand has a strong lineup with models like the Outback, Crosstrek, Forester, WRX Wagon and Sedan, BRZ, and Evoltis.
