Per Subaru, the brand’s sales for the first five months of 2023 totaled 215,578 units.Broken down, the carmaker’s sales show a total of 6,399 vehicles sold in Japan (which translates to its second consecutive monthly increase) and a total of 34,731 cars sold overseas (translating to its fourth consecutive monthly increase).
That said, the brand’s sales for the first five months of 2023 totaled 215,578 units. Exactly 42,601 units were from its domestic sales while the remaining 172,977 were from sales outside of Japan.
In terms of production, Subaru was able to produce 49,790 cars domestically while some 30,564 of its vehicles were built overseas. Its overall global production totaled 80,354, reflecting its fourth consecutive monthly increase.
The company did not disclose which of its models were among the top sellers.
In the Philippines, Subaru’s lineup consists of the XV, Outback, Forester, Evoltis, WRX (sedan and station wagon, and BRZ.
