Subaru is set to reveal a modified version of the Levorg at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon 2023.
Called the “STI Sport #” prototype, the special Subaru Levorg’s special edition is based on the nameplate’s STI R EX version. With that, the vehicle is said to be powered by a 2.4-liter boxer-four engine that can provide as much as 271 horsepower and is expected to be mated to a continuously variable transmission since the model has never been retailed with a manual gearbox.
Although Subaru has yet to share the details of the Levorg STI Sport #, the company said that customers can expect “enhanced stable handling and premium drive feel.”
The company said that the soon-to-be-revealed version is set to be retailed in a limited number of units.
To note, the Subaru Levorg is the WRX wagon in the Philippines.
Aside from that, Subaru models that will be exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 include the all-new Impreza (Japanese model) equipped with STI parts, BRZ GT300 2022 of the Super GT 2022 series, the Boost Gear Concept of the Crosstrek and Rex, and as well as the WRX models that will be participating in the NBR Challenge 2023 and Rally Challenge 2023.
