Motor Image Pilipinas (MIP) has made the pricing of the Subaru XV and Forester nearly the same as it was two years ago.
The local exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles revealed this as part of its 15th Anniversary Deals this month.
Up until August 31, the 2021 Subaru XV 2.0 i-S EyeSight CVT is offered for only P1.698 million, which is only P30,000 higher than its 2019 price point of P1.668 million.
According to MIP, the price adjustment “represents significant value as the 2021 XV boasts several upgrades over the old model, such as a dual-function X-Mode system, SI-Drive modes, an eight-inch HD infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and enhanced ride comfort with its improved suspension, among many others.”
Meanwhile, buyers of the Forester compact SUV may take home the 2.0 i-L EyeSight CVT for as low as P1.728 million. Should the customer opt to convert the available P40,000 service voucher package and free GT Lite Body Kit into equivalent cash discounts, this makes the mid-spec variant almost as affordable as it was two years ago (with a standard price of P1.698 million).
The current Forester is fitted with Superview Around Recognition 360-degree (SAR360) camera system and the upgraded eight-inch high-definition infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto that can also be found in the latest version of the XV.
For this month’s promotion, the 2021 Subaru Evoltis is retailed to customers for as low as P3.38 million, with savings of P100,000 compared to its launch price. Further, this seven-seater model and the upcoming all-new 2021 Subaru Outback (still available with a P50,000 introductory discount) are now covered by the Special Frontliners Appreciation Promo — just like the Forester 2.0i-L EyeSight and XV 2.0i-S EyeSight.
The latest program provides frontliners, essential workers, and their family members an exclusive P20,000 discount on top of Subaru’s other generous deals for these models.
To avail of this special offer, customers need only present a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license, Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) ID, or company ID (whichever is available).
Those who may avail the additional incentive are the following:
To clarify, MIP said that the indicated prices exclude freight and other additional logistical costs that vary depending on location. “Interested customers are encouraged to contact or visit their nearest Subaru showroom to learn more about these promos on our line-up of Subaru SUVs, each equipped with over 100 standard safety features and Subaru’s signature Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system,” MIP noted.
Further, customers who either walk in or book an appointment with a Subaru sales consultant will instantly receive special Subaru merchandise upon arrival at the showroom. They will then receive another premium Subaru item upon the completion of a test drive of any Subaru model.
