The Kia Soluto is one of the South Korean carmaker’s entries into the highly competitive subcompact sedan segment in the Philippines.
Kia introduced the Soluto to the local automotive scene back in 2019. The newcomer offered a feature-rich option for Filipino car buyers looking for a small and capable car.

It’s Kia’s word, not ours. But seriously, the seats on the Kia Soluto are definitely back- and rump-friendly.
Front seats come with armrests and height adjuster (driver) as well as recline and slide functions (front passenger). The rear seats, albeit in a fixed layout, are still comfy enough to seat two adults and a single pre-teen.
On the LX trims, customers can get cloth seats while the EX variant ups the aesthetics with a touch of leather.
Either way, both options give the driver and the Soluto’s passengers good cushioning to keep them comfortable whether they’re in for a short or a long drive.
And while we’re on the topic of aesthetic leather trims…
Inside the Kia Soluto is an ample amount of leather trims, enough to make the practical subcompact sedan offer a touch of luxury.
On the EX variant, the steering wheel is wrapped in leather as well as the shift knobs. Drivers who are particular with the texture of the car components they put their hands on every day will be pleased to feel the opulent grainy finish of the Soluto’s leather-wrapped parts.
Although the Kia Soluto’s strengths do not lie in luxury and advanced technology, this subcompact sedan comes with a decent infotainment system.
Taking center stage is a seven-inch touchscreen unit that features an AM/FM radio, MP3, and USB and Aux-in ports. It also functions as a rearview monitor. While it still isn’t Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capable, it’s better than those DIN radios you get from other budget subcompact vehicles.
The Kia Soluto is offered in four variants with a price range of P720,000 to P810,000.
