Suzuki Philippines (SPH) unveiled the Burgman Street 125 EX at the Makina Moto Show 2023 last month, alongside its new adventure bike, the V-Strom 1050DE.
Being the new scooter in the brand’s lineup, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX comes with features that could entice motorcycle buyers into bringing home SPH’s newest small displacement scooter offering. Thinking of adding the Burgman Street 125 EX to your garage? Here are three reasons that might just convince you.
One of the biggest draws of the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is how classy the motorbike is. It comes in two exclusive colors (Bronze and Matte Black), which gives it a premium look.
Adding up to its luxurious appeal are its leather-like seats, chrome appliques, and its elegant-looking hand grips.
Further, the combination of its aggressive lines and sexy curves make the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX look like a breath of fresh air in the sea of 125 cubic capacity scooters that are doing their best to look seriously sporty.
And since we’re on the topic of style, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX comes with mags that look pretty much like TE37 wheels.
The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is equipped with a fuel-efficient powerplant that clocks in at 52.6 kilometers per liter, which according to SPH, is based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle standards.
Its four-stroke, one-cylinder, single overhead camshaft engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission and makes 8.4 horsepower and 10.0 Newton meters of torque. The fuel-injected, air-cooled engine has a fully transistorized ignition system.
To better save fuel, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is paired with an engine auto stop-start system and a silent start system.
Finally, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is offered with an appealing price tag, at P92,400.
SPH was right to call it “the maxi scooter you can afford” as it is reasonably priced despite all the luxurious features and appointments it comes with. Notable standard amenities include a stylish headlamp, its 5.5-liter fuel tank, its 12-inch tires, and its digital instrument panel that displays relative riding information in crisp detail.
