Suzuki Motors unveiled the 2019 GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R supersport bikes at the Intermot Motorcycle Show in Germany, showcasing the smart upgrades imbued in each bike for the upcoming model year.
First introduced in 2016, the latest added features come courtesy of the customer feedback that the Japanese bike manufacturer took into account during the planning stages for both Gixers’ 2019 model year.
The GSX-R1000R gets stainless steel braided brake hoses for even better durability under hard braking over a longer period of time. An adjustable swingarm pivot has also been added to give track riders an added dimension to their set-up.
For the GSX-R1000 this year’s optional quickshifter/auto-blipper will now come as standard fitment.
Both bikes will arrive at authorized Suzuki Motor dealerships wearing black exhausts with new heatshields, new paint schemes, and Bridgestone’s new RS11 tires, which replaces the aging RS10.
