Suzuki PH Brings S-Presso, XL7 Prior to March Reveal
The first batch of Suzuki S-Presso and XL7 have already touched Philippine shores, getting ready for its grand reveal next month.
A reputable source, whose wished his identity withheld, told CARMUDI PHILIPPINES that the two vehicles will officially be unveiled mid-March.
According to the source, more than 200 S-Presso and XL7 (around 100 units each) have already reached Batangas Port last week.
The said number of units will be utilized for training as the all the around 40 3S dealerships will have one—for familiarization purposes.
Both the XL7 and S-Presso will only have a sole variant, the source added.
Bigger than the well-loved Suzuki Ertiga, the XL7 also looks than its big brother, thanks to its character lines.
The XL7 is set to compete with fellow Japan-bred seven-seaters such as the Toyota Rush and Mitsubishi Xpander.
The Suzuki XL7, to be available in GL variant, will be powered by a 1.5 liter K10B engine mated to four-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the S-Presso is somewhat similar to the Jimny, but with toned-down lines.
The said model is already being sold in India. In the said market, the 1.0 liter gasoline-powered engine is mated to either a five-speed manual transmission.
While we still have to wait for middle of next month for Suzuki Philippines Incorporated to officially drop the drapes, we know many will be excited with the upcoming offerings.
