The automobile arm of Suzuki Philippines Incorporated (SPH) has refreshed the Ciaz, improving its sedan offering’s aesthetics inside and out.
In line with its “Up Your Game” theme, the updated Ciaz sports minor exterior changes and a refurbished interior while retaining the same driving performance that its fan base has been accustomed to.
The revisions in its exterior look include a new chrome grille that matches the overall new bumper design. LED lamps and newly designed fog lamps with chrome accents are fitted in the latest iteration of the Ciaz.
Meanwhile, all passengers will be sitting on ergonomic seats covered in fabric and the driver is greeted with a “refined” instrument panel, black interior with silver accents.
Further, the upgraded Ciaz is equipped with an upgraded eight-inch infotainment system that is Apple CarPlay- and Android Auto-compatible and can be connected to one’s device via Bluetooth or USB cable. It also has a soft touch button for better access to the hardware.
It refreshed Ciaz keeps the 1.4-liter petrol engine that offers a maximum output of 91hp, and it fortified with safety features that include a reverse camera, dual airbags, and anti-lock braking system with electronic brakeforce distribution .
Available in three colors — Mineral Gray Metallic, Pure White Pearl and Super Black Pearl — the new Ciaz wears a ₱888,000 price tag. The price reflects an increase of P45,000 from the P823,000 price point the 1.4 GL MT variant was previously offered.
