Suzuki PH reveals 2 new moto offerings
Two new Suzuki motorcycles were unveiled at the opening day of the Makina Moto Show 2023, giving more options to the country's followers of the Japanese motorcycle brand.

The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is priced at P92,400 while the V-Strom 1050DE has a retail price of P899,000.First revealed was the latest iteration of the brand’s maxi-scooter called the Burgman Street 125 EX and the latest addition to its adventure bike series, the V-Strom 1050DE.
Called the Executive Class, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 wears a more refined styling exuding rich elegance and boasts of more advanced features in response to the demands of the market.
Powered by the new four-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, single overhead cam, fuel-injected 125 cubic-capacity (cc) Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha engine, the Burgman Street 125 EX has the capacity to do 52.6 kilometers per liter fuel efficiency.
Part of the Suzuki Eco Performance-Alpha technology are the engine auto stop-start system and a silent starter system.
Aside from that, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX sports an improved, fully digital instrument panel that displays the engine auto stop-start Indicator, eco drive indicator, engine temperature, battery voltage indicator, digital clock, fuel gauge, oil change indicator, dual trip meter, fuel consumption, and engine check indicator.
Providing the stopping power is the Combined Brake System. Additionally, it also has a two-liter lidded front glove box with a USB outlet added for convenience and sits on 12-inch on 12-inch tubeless tires.
The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX has a host of safety and convenience namely the side stand safety switch; one-push central locking system; 21.5-liter underseat compartment; and longer wheelbase.
Offered in Metallic Royal Bronze and Metallic Matte Black body colors, the Suzuki Burgman Street 125 EX is priced at P92,400.
It can be recalled that the same trim was launched in Europe late last year.
Meanwhile, the motorcycle division of Suzuki Philippines (SPH) said that the Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE is packed with distinctive features aimed specifically at enhancing its ability to confidently negotiate unpaved surfaces.
Fitted in the V-Strom 1050DE are the advanced electronic control systems that comprise the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS).
Further, the new adventure motorcycle offering comes with a 21-inch front tire with a semi-block pattern; a longer rake and wheelbase and suspension stroke; wider handlebars and steel foot pegs; an aluminum skid plate; as well as a standard-equipment accessory bar.
Further, the V-Strom 1050DE features Gravel (G) mode to the Suzuki Traction Control System. Riders can also switch off the rear anti-brake lock system for more control over the vehicle.
Available in three colorways (Champion Yellow/Metallic Matt Sword Silver, Pearl Vigor Blue/Pearl Brilliant White and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matt Black) the Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE has a retail price of P899,000.
To note, the new Suzuki V-Strom 1050DE was introduced in the United Kingdom back in the third quarter of 2022.
