From Imus in Cavite going to Nasugbu in Batangas, Jeyffie Cimafranca managed to do a 128kpl entry — besting 75 other riders who participated in the event. The result was verified by personnel from SPH.

Powering the motorcycle is a 150 cubic-capacity double overhead cam, four valve, six-speed fuel injected gasoline engine that can do 18.2 horsepower and 13.8 Newton-meters of pulling power. The said mill allowed the rider to cover 82 kilometers of uphills and winding roads going to the destination.

Aside from that, a bone-stock Suzuki Raider R150 FI sits on 17-inch tubeless tires at the front (70/90) and rear (80/90). Taking the bumps on the road are the telescopic coil spring, oil damped front suspensions at the front.

The Suzuki Raider R150 FI’s dry weight is only 109 kilograms, and its tank can hold four liters of fuel.

Further, the motorcycle is 1,960 millimeters (mm) long, 675mm wide and 980mm tall with a 1,280mm wheelbase and 150mm ground clearance. Its seat height is 765mm.

Meanwhile, SPH Motorcycle Marketing Manager Nenuka Guba was ecstatic with the result of the economy run.

“128.2 km to a liter! This number brought out the truth that the Raider R150 is both a powerful and fuel-efficient machine. It is the only one in its category with a double overhead camshaft that provides both the power and economical output. You saw it, more than 75 Raider owners have been logging remarkable results from this fuel economy run. We are glad to have spent the day on an exercise like this that revealed the truth: that the Suzuki Raider R150 is the Underbone King,” Guba told Carmudi Philippines in an interview.

Aside from the FI version, the Suzuki Raider R150 is also being retailed with a carburetor-type option.
