Suzuki to bring in new product in Q4 2024

A new Suzuki motorcycle shall arrive in the country come the latter part of the year.

According to Suzuki Philippines (SPH) Motorcycle Marketing Communications Group Head Edelyn Yanilla, the upcoming offering will be unveiled within the fourth quarter of the year. Whether it would be a new nameplate or an additional variant is still up in the air as no further details were shared during the time of posting.

However, upon checking the company website, Carmudi Philippines presumed that the forthcoming vehicle might join the local small displacement backbone category as the lineup could use an update.

Below are the two-wheelers currently offered by SPH under the small displacement backbone category.

Launched in October 2022, the 250SX is considered as the third member of the local V-Strom lineup. It is equipped with a 249-cubic centimeter (cc), four-stroke, single-cylinder, four-valve, fuel injected, single overhead cam (SOHC) engine matched to six-speed constant mesh transmission. Its price is at P229,000.

SPH also has three Gixxer offerings in the said category: the 250, SF250, and Fi.

The first two are both powered by a 250cc, SOHC, oil-cooled, four-valve, fuel injected engine matched to a six-speed constant mesh transmission (just like the V-Strom 250SX) while the last one, a four-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC, two-valve 155cc mill mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Their prices are P182,900; P192,900; and P104,900, respectively.
