The Suzuki Jimny has been a popular compact 4WD and has allowed the Japanese automaker to gain a strong foothold in the mini-car segment in the global market, especially in the UK.
Because of its success, Suzuki has announced the upcoming introduction the Jimny’s new two-seater light commercial vehicle (LCV) version. The new LCV model will be available in very limited numbers, said Suzuki.
The new Jimny LCV comes with a large 863-liter load area compartment with a flat floor and safety cargo partition. It will be made available in a single variant that features air-conditioning, AllGrip Pro selectable 4WD with low transfer gear, DAB radio, dual sensor brake support, 15-inch black steel wheels, and cruise control with speed limiter.
In addition, eCall, an emergency messaging function following a collision, is also available as standard equipment.
The LCV model will be powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and will be supported by a three-link rigid axle suspension system.
The price of the Jimny LCV will be £16,796.
