Suzuki has announced that it will showcase the concept model of the Swift compact car at the upcoming 2023 Japan Mobility Show.
According to the Japanese automotive brand, the Suzuki Swift Concept (photo above) proposes the new value of the nameplate.
“With a shift from tangible consumption to experiential consumption, the Swift Concept not only provides ‘design’ and ‘drive,’ but also proposes new value of ‘have fun with car and daily lives,’” Suzuki wrote in a press statement.
Per the Shizuoka-headquartered company, the Suzuki Swift Concept will be slapped with a host of advanced safety technologies including Dual Sensor Brake Support II collision mitigation braking, Adaptive High Beam System, and Driver Monitoring System.
Additionally, it is fitted with a high-efficiency engine, which strikes a balance between driving performance and fuel efficiency.
Also to be presented at the event is the Suzuki eVX.
The Suzuki eVX was first presented in India at Auto Expo 2023. For its Japan debut, the carmaker has evolved its exterior and will reveal the electric vehicle’s (EV) interior for the first time.
It is equipped with a battery that offers an estimated range of 500 kilometers (km).
On the other hand, the Suzuki eWX will make its global premiere at this year’s Japan Mobility Show.
The electric mini wagon is a concept model of how Suzuki sees a fun and practical mini wagon. It is outfitted with a battery that is said to offer up to 230km of all-electric range.
Additionally, Suzuki is slated to bring the e Every Concept to the 2023 Japan Mobility Show this October. The commercial EV van is equipped with a battery-electric vehicle system, which was jointly developed by Suzuki Motor Corporation, Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., and Toyota Motor Corporation.
The said commercial vehicle is expected to offer an emissions-free range of 200km.
Finally, Suzuki revealed that it will unveil the Spacia Concept and Spacia Custom Concept at the automotive expo.
The Suzuki Spacia is a minicar that has a unique styling and spacious cabin. The carmaker pointed out that the concept model is filled with its wish to “Make daily lives more fun, convenient, and comfortable!”
