Suzuki to supply AFAZ with motorcycle parts

According to Suzuki, the parts for motorcycle production to be supplied include engine and body parts.According to the Japanese motorbike brand, the parts for motorcycle production to be supplied include engine and body parts for models ranging from 110 cubic centimeter (cc) to 150cc models starting in 2024.
The supplied parts will come from Suzuki’s plants in Southeast Asia, the Shizuoka-headquartered company confirmed.
Suzuki signed a contract with KMSB Motors Sdn. Bhd — AFAZ’s parent company — on September 15. The contract conclusion ceremony was held at the Prime Minister’s Office of Malaysia on the same day, accompanied by the Prime Minister, Honorable Dato’ Seri Anwar bin, with KMSB President Faez Yahaya, and Suzuki President Toshihiro Suzuki.
KMSB is a group company of AFY Mobility Industries Sdn. Bhd, a sole shareholder of Suzuki Malaysia, which produces and sells Suzuki brand motorcycles in Malaysia.
“In addition to sales of motorcycles, Suzuki would like to contribute to the expansion and prosperity of the Malaysian motorcycle market and industry through supplying parts to KMSB,” Suzuki’s President was quoted saying.
