  • What are the available colors of the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE?

  • So, we’re going to take a look at what are the pros and cons of this motorcycle and if this motorbike is the right ride for you.

    Pros

    Adventure-oriented

Designed to take on challenging adventures, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is the bike for the outgoing rider. Slapped with a powerful 776 cubic centimeter engine, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE has more than enough power to conquer almost any terrain.

On paper, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE can put out as much as 83 horsepower with 78 Newton-meters of torque.

Additionally, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is equipped with an anti-lock braking system (ABS) at the rear (which can be turned off) and a Gravel Mode for when one wants to go off-road.

    Good looking

At first glance, there’s no mistaking that the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is a motorbike designed to go above and beyond. Compared to other motorcycles in the segment, it offers looks that are powerful and aggressive — pretty much like how it performs.

On its fore are a pair of striking headlamps that go well with the distinct duck-billed fascia of the motorcycle. Likewise, the side profile and the rear end of the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE feature prominent angles that underscore its outdoorsy nature.

It can be had in three colors, namely, Champion Yellow No. 2, Glass Mat Mechanical Gray, and Glass Sparkle Black.

    A relatively safe ride

It’s only natural for a rider to think about safety, especially when heading off the beaten path.

On that note, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE features safety amenities such as the aforementioned ABS, two disc brakes at the front and one at the rear, and a high ground clearance of 220 millimeters.

    Cons

    A high-riding bike

Speaking of its high ground clearance, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE could be somewhat challenging for short riders.

Nevertheless, a little mastery of handling the motorbike might give one enough confidence and know-how to ride the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE safely and comfortably.

    Relatively heavy

In the same respect, the Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE might be a little heavy for lady riders of small build. But, as we have mentioned above, a little mastery and getting used to might help with overcoming the height and weight of the adventure bike.
