The Covenant Car Company, Inc. (TCCCI) is off to a hot start this second half of the year as the company is keen on bringing up to four models under Chevrolet and Morris Garages (MG) until the end of the year.
TCCCI Executive Vice President and Director for Marketing and Customer Services Lyn Manalansang-Buena told Carbay Philippines that the two brands are eyeing to release a pair of models each before the year ends. She didn't indicate what these models are.
What she shared, however, is that the launches have been rescheduled due to constraints posed by the pandemic. “Right now, it is really a challenge to schedule vehicle launches,” she mentioned.
Based on a tip Carmudi received earlier, Chevrolet is keen on bringing in the Tahoe and Suburban and another halo model. The source correctly predicted the introduction of the all-new Chevrolet Tracker.
Launched last July 1, the China-based model, TCCCI President Albert Arcilla said, is an addition to the lineup and not a replacement of the outgoing Chevrolet Trax.
Meanwhile, reports said that MG might be bringing in the RX8 and ZS EV, among others.
