The 2021 Cadillac Escalade Has a 38-inch Infotainment System That's Probably Better Than Your TV
Call us crazy, but when you have a 38-inch, curved, OLED infotainment screen with twice the pixel density of a 4K Television inside your 2021 Cadillac Escalade, then we'd seriously consider living in it and calling it "home".
And it doesn't matter how cramped it's going to be. We'll be extremely happy as long as we have enough money to buy popcorn and watch reruns of Game of Thrones while inside it.
Of course, we have to warn you that it's a very pricey investment. The newest Escalade isn't for the cheapskate or faint of heart. This is a luxury SUV, mind you, so you have to be really cash-loaded to buy this.
We can assure you, however, that it would be one of the best decisions you've ever made.
Because where else can you find an infotainment screen that looks like your TV in the living room? Or watch a show that looks far better compared to the one you have at home? And while we're at it, where else can you watch "Hugot" movies and mourn silently on your seat--all the while letting the vehicle autonomously drive you on highways?
This is only possible with the 2021 Cadillac Escalade's Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system.
But that's not just it. If you add in excellent craftsmanship, heated and cooled front seats, an extremely roomy interior that can comfortably seat eight-passengers, heated rear outboard seats, and a second- and third-row Rear Seat Entertainment System, then yes, we're sold.
We're definitely not getting out of this car if it's the last place on earth.
The new Escalade's spy photos revealed an independent rear suspension that's similar to the Cadillac Tahoe and Cadillac Suburban. It would probably have a 6.2-liter V-8 engine, and would likely create a new 3.0-liter turbo-diesel inline-six as another engine option.
Some of its safety features will include surround vision, enhanced automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, lane change alert with side blind zone alert, forward collision alert, and a safety alert seat system.
Expect the official release of the 2021 Cadillac Escalade during Oscars week this February 4.
