Nissan says that only 5,000 Nissan Juke Kiiros will made.In addition, Nissan also confirmed that it has entered a promotional partnership with Warner Bros. to support the launch of The Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne and Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle. According to Nissan, this partnership will be activated in cinemas, on social media, and on billboards across the UK, with Juke imagery alongside iconic The Batman film graphics.
The new Nissan Juke may not be as badass as the Batmobile but we wouldn’t mind hopping in the new compact crossover to tour the streets of Gotham.
Powering the new limited special-edition Juke is a 1.0-liter gasoline mill mated to either a six-speed manual or a dual-clutch automatic tranny with paddle shifters. This powertrain setup gives the Juke Kiiro 112 horses and 200Nm of peak torque.
Taking after the Caped Crusader, the Nissan Juke Kiiro wears a ceramic gray exterior which is offset by the addition of unique bright yellow finishers on the lower part of the front bumper, at the base of the doors, and rear bumper.
Nissan says that these flashes of colors add dynamism and a provocative streak to the Juke Kiiro’s exterior styling. Additional eye-catching detail includes the aluminum finisher fitted to the lip of the front valance. The Juke Kiiro also rides on glossy black 19-inch wheels.
A sophisticated pattern can be seen on the mirrors and roof edges with the latter fading as if wind or speed blew it away towards the rear of the vehicle. The overall effect is to give the Juke Kiiro an understated, daring but eye-catching look.
Inside, the Nissan Juke Kiiro features black fabric seats with new black and metallic grey syntech leather inserts. To mimic the exterior styling, the Nissan Juke Kiiro’s front seats, central armrest, center console, front door panels, and dashboard all come with yellow stitching.
To tell its passengers that the Juke they’re on is a special version, an aluminum plate on the center console bears the word Kiiro, which is Japanese for yellow.
Soon-to-be owners of the limited-edition Juke can also expect the Juke Kiiro to have an eight-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It’s also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.
“Since the introduction of the first eye-catching personalization options on the original Juke, we know how much customers appreciate the Juke’s styling and the way its personality lends itself to playful additions. We wanted to create a special version that looks serious, with added presence and boldness — but that wasn’t somber or boring. I’m confident the Juke Kiiro will be a great success,” said Nissan AMIEO Region Vice President for Product Strategy and Pricing Arnaud Charpentier.
The Nissan Juke Kiiro follows previous special versions Kuro (black) and Shiro (white) of the first-generation Juke.
