The Nissan Navara is the brand’s entry to the local pickup truck category, competing with the likes of the Toyota Hilux and the Mitsubishi Strada. The Navara recently got a facelift and brought with it a host of new exterior features that makes the PH-spec pickup look tougher, meaner, and more aggressive.
Interested to know what’s it like to ride inside the refreshed Navara? Stick around to find out.
Across the board, all Nissan Navara’s are equipped with so-called zero-gravity seats. Driver seats on the EL, VE, and the range-topping Pro 4X trims get six-way manual adjust zero gravity seats while the VL variants get eight-way power adjust zero-gravity with lumbar support.
Meanwhile, the front passenger gets four-way manual adjust zero-gravity seats across the board.
Seats on the EL and EL trims are wrapped in fabric while those on the VL and Pro 4X variants are finished in leather.
For a pickup truck, the steering wheel on the Navara sure looks stylish. The upper trims get leather-covered ones while the base models plain urethane.
The bottom bracket model gets controls for audio and your phone while the rest get the added benefit of having cruise control and controls for the driver-assist display. The steering wheel on all models only has tilt adjustment.
With the exception of the base EL variant which has only a standard trip computer, all Navara models get a modern instrument cluster fitted with the aforementioned high-contrast seven-inch driver-assist display.
Here, drivers can see relevant information like driving aids, get driver attention alerts, and Bluetooth audio.
Likewise, the lower variant gets a decent 2-DIN radio while the rest gets an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Nissan Navara is offered in eight variants with prices ranging from P1,026,000 to P1,746,000.
