Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) has announced that it is now offering its latest variant for its well-loved Xpander offering.
Called the Mitsubishi Xpander Black Series, the newest trim for the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) model is placed just below the top-of-the-line Xpander Cross.
MMPC President and Chief Executive Officer Takeshi Hara noted that the new Xpander Black Series “was developed to rejuvenate excitement” toward its best-selling MPV.
“The Xpander remains to be a very important product in our vehicle lineup and we at MMPC are geared to consistently enhance its offerings to cater to the various demands of the market. With the black series, the Xpander presents a more sophisticated look,” Hara added.
The new Xpander Black Series sports black accessory accents that are aimed to provide a more elegant touch to the model.
The front grille, dynamic shield garnish, lower bumper, fog light bezel and door mirrors are now covered in black hue. For the side and black profile, the Xpander Black Series, the sill garnish, door handles, panel moldings, rear lower bumper and 17-inch alloy wheels are also painted in black.
Meanwhile, the new Mitsubishi Xpander Black Series will still have the same features that made the nameplate rake in awards. It has a seven-passenger capacity, flexible seating configuration, and is fitted with a myriad of comfort, convenience and safety features.
Powering the new Mitsubishi Xpander Black Series is a reliable 1.5-liter MIVEC engine.
Available in Quartz White Pearl and Black Jet Mica, the Xpander Black is offered at P1.138 million.
Back in the first half of 2021, Mitsubishi Motors Indonesia introduced the Xpander Cross RF Black Edition (RFBE).
