If you think Mercedes Benz can’t get any more luxurious, think again.
The most opulent Mercedes Benz SUV has just been released, and it recently landed on our shores. The new Mercedes Benz GLS is here, and it is divine.
The third generation model of the GLS is larger than its predecessor, measuring 5,207mm long, 1956 mm wide, and has a longer wheelbase than the previous model.
The new GLS is an exquisite example of the German brand’s “Sensual Purity” design philosophy. The GLS is large, bold, and demands all your attention. The SUV is fitted with 21 inch AMG five-spoke light alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, Mercedes Benz made sure to spare no expense as the interior is fitted from floor to ceiling with luxurious leather, wood trims, and brushed aluminum accents. The GLS has three rows that can seat up to seven passengers, and each seat is wrapped in leather. The cabin is also fitted with automatic climate controls, two 12.3 inch screens fitted with the latest Mercedes Benz User Experience (MBUX) system, a heads up display, along with a top notch Burmester Surround Sound System that envelops the cabin with a high end 3D sound system. The cabin is also surrounded by 64 LED bulbs for the mood lighting.
The newest Mercedes Benz GLS comes with great safety features such as Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, a 360 degree camera, Active Brake Assist, and the Parktronic system with Active Parking Assist.
The massive SUV comes with a massive engine, an 3.0 liter inline six turbocharged engine that comes mated with the 9G-Tronic automatic transmission.
