The Maxus G50 is the brand’s entry into the highly competitive Philippine MPV segment. Although a newcomer, the Maxus G50 looks to compete with more established staples like the Toyota Avanza and the Toyota Avanza.

One of the strongest suits of the Maxus G50 is its roomy cabin. It can seat eight people while still offering ample head and legroom, allowing passengers to keep comfortable during short and long trips.
The first-row seats accommodate the driver and one passenger, while the second- and third-row seats can accommodate three each.
On the lower trims, the seats are finished with decent fabric, while you get leather seats on the upper trims.
The Maxus G50 lives up to its promise as a modern MPV. That said, you’ll find features you won’t typically find in other MPVs.
The range-topping variant has features like automatic air-conditioning, keyless entry and a push start button, a wireless charger, a panoramic sunroof, and a power tailgate.
In addition, the upper trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Mobile Link, allowing owners to link their smartphones to the touchscreen audio panel. Sound is directed to six speakers for the higher variants while the lower variants get four speakers.
It’s not something you’d exactly find once you hop aboard, but the Maxus G50 gives drivers that extra peace of mind thanks to the electronic parking brake with auto-hold function, as well as a 360-degree camera with front and rear parking sensors mirrored on the on-board infotainment system.
Maxus Philippines is currently offering the G50 in three variants: the 1.5T Pro, 1.5T Elite, and the 1.5T Premium. They are priced at P1,088,000, P1,168,000, and P1,338,000, respectively.
