The Ford EcoSport was first introduced into the local automotive scene in 2014. The subcompact crossover was aimed at budget-conscious car buyers looking to get the best of both worlds. And by that, we mean sedan and SUVs.
At a glance, the refreshed Ford EcoSport offers snappy features including the Aston Martin-like grille, halogen or HID projector lamps (depending on the trim), foglamps, roof rails, a power sunroof (only on Titanium models), and 17-inch wheels.
Its on-fleek exterior design is complemented by equally sporty colors that elevate the Ford EcoSport’s looks.
Others would argue that white isn’t a sporty color. Well, these folks might not have heard of Chip Ganassi Racing’s Ford GTs that donned retro liveries at the 2019 Rolex 24 at Daytona. And who could forget the iconic Honda Type-Rs in Championship White?
No doubt, Ford EcoSport’s Crystal White finish gives the compact crossover a clean and sporty look.
In Blue Lightning, the Ford EcoSport harks back to the brand’s involvement with former race car driver Carroll Shelby. We know it could use two white stripes, but it still looks sporty nonetheless.
It’s been said that blue car owners are typically calm but are no pushovers, especially on the open road. That said, the Ford EcoSport might look cool and composed, but when taunted, can leave you biting the dust with its capable 1.5-liter gasoline mill.
This color needs no explanation. Red has always been associated with sporty cars like Alfa Romeo and Ferrari. Now the Ford EcoSport is not anything like the aforementioned Italian cars but you’re sure to leave the same impression when you pass by onlookers and bystanders.
While black has long been seen as a color of sophistication and luxury, modern trends in the automotive industry have changed this color’s status to that of something sporty.
Just look at today’s SUVs. The sporty trims usually pack blacked-out accents and accessories.
On that note, the Ford EcoSport looks sharper and more aggressive in Absolute Black.
