Toyota Gazoo Racing Vios Cup 2022 slated this weekend

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is inviting everyone to watch the opening round of the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup 2022 that will happen on Saturday (July 2) at the Clark International Speedway in Pampanga.

In a statement, the country's leading automotive distributor said that the public may watch the event in two ways: on-site or online.

For those who want to watch it together with a live audience, TMP reiterated that the admission is free and only vaccination cards are required to be presented upon entry.

Meanwhile, fans and racing aficionados who opt to enjoy the race virtually may watch it at the official Toyota Motor Philippines and Toyota Gazoo Racing Philippines Facebook pages. To level up the online experience, racer interviews and other behind-the-scenes content will also be available across TMP and TGR social media channels.

Racers participating in the circuit championship’s three categories (Super Sporting, Sporting, and Promotional) are expected to battle it out on the tracks.

Meanwhile, personalities namely Enzo Pineda, Jules Aquino, Gino Quillamor, Arron Villaflor, Lexi Mendiola, Dexi Diaz, Ashley Gosiengfiao, Carla Lizardo, Bea Magtanong, Bianca Yao, Benedict Cua, and Miggy Romulo, along with members of media and e-racers from Toyota Gazoo Racing Gran Turismo Cup (GR GT Cup) will be competing at the Autocross Challenge.

“Over the years, the thrill and spirit of TGR Vios Cup has been TMP’s commitment in making motorsports more accessible to both racers and Filipino racing enthusiasts, further fuelling the country’s growing love for motorsports,” TMP noted.

The TGR Vios Cup 2022 is organized in cooperation with Bridgestone and Petron, and is supported by Brembo, Denso, OMP, Tuason Racing, AVT, 3M, ROTA, my Toyota Wallet, and Kinto One.
