Toyota Motor Thailand has launched the latest generation of the Vios, which is locally known there as the Yaris Ativ.
Dubbed as “Our Beloved,” the newly revealed subcompact sedan is 5mm longer, 10mm wider, and 5mm taller than its predecessor with its wheelbase 70mm longer than the outgoing version.
For its exterior, the all-new Toyota Yaris Ativ wears a grille design similar to that of the Camry and Corolla, angular headlamps and L-shaped daytime running lights.
The all-new Toyota Yaris Ativ is powered by a 1.2 liter naturally-aspirated, four-cylinder, dual VVT-i double overhead cam engine that can provide a maximum output of 92.6 horses and 110Nm. It is paired to a Super CVT-i. The combination allows the vehicle to deliver 23.3 kpl fuel efficiency rating.
The car has four variants: Sport (539,000 THB [around the P845,000>); Smart (584,000 THB [around P915,000>); Premium (659,000 THB [P1.034 million>); and Premium Luxury (689,000 THB [P1.08 million>).
