Toyota PH adds more services in myToyota app
Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has introduced its newest host of connected services designed to bring vehicle owners more convenience.

The myTOYOTA Connect is available for the Hiace and RAV4.Dubbed as the “myTOYOTA Connect”, the latest service (accessible via the myTOYOTA app) is initially available in the Hiace GL Grandia, Grandia Tourer, and Super Grandia variants that will be retailed this month. “Soon, more myTOYOTA Connect capable Toyota models equipped with a connected device will be announced in the market,” the company added.
The leading automotive distributor in the country said that the new connected services can be activated under a free introductory period.
“myTOYOTA Connect is yet another example of how TMP is determined to improve the Filipinos’ quality of life through technologically advanced mobility options and services,” TMP President Atsuhiro Okamoto was quoted as saying.
“With myTOYOTA Connect, we are not just giving Toyota users the power to enjoy the best possible customer experience through access to life-changing innovations and practical information. We are also harnessing the power of data to continuously personalize and bring constant improvement in our level of service to our customers.”
TMP said that the myTOYOTA Connect gives users enhanced mobility through connected services that bring together the brand’s array of offerings to fit their specific needs.
The myTOYOTA Connect via myTOYOTA app gives users information on the vehicle status, driving information, and daily trip summaries to help manage and maintain a vehicle or fleet. It also has a locator (even if the vehicle is turned off) and a geofencing feature that sets an alert once the vehicle enters or leaves the user-set boundaries.
Further, the myTOYOTA Connect dishes out on-the-dot reminders according to the actual mileage of the vehicle to schedule regular maintenance, complementing the myTOYOTA app’ service booking feature.
TMP also said that the myTOYOTA Connect comes with the Connected Toyota Insure (with AXA Philippines as the sole insurance provider). The offer is the first Pay-How-You-Drive (PHYD) insurance product that gives vehicle owners a reduced renewal premium and full insurance coverage under Toyota Insure Program.

Aside from the aforementioned Hiace trims, the myTOYOTA Connect will be available in the RAV4 starting today.
