Following its launch in the local market, Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is eyeing to sell 1,000 examples per month of the all-new Raize.
TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Sherwin Chualim announced the target during the recent virtual launch of the latest crossover offering.
When reached, the all-new Raize alone would beat the overall sales of most automotive distributors in the country for a whole year, which would seem quite a goal for a model that is newly introduced.
Although admitting that such is the case, Chualim said that the company has already devised plans to reach the number with its various marketing initiatives: partnerships with the traditional media, digital advertising to further tap the younger market, and other dealer-level efforts.
Chualim also shared that TMP is receiving positive customer feedback pertaining to the all-new Raize.
Relatedly, TMP assured that it will secure an ample supply of the all-new Raize for the local market amid the global chip shortage that hampered the global brand’s production.
Designed to cater to the younger market, the newly introduced offering is available in four variants and two engine options: a turbocharged 1.0-liter and 1.2 naturally aspirated one.
The price for the all-new Raize starts at P746,000 (1.2 E MT) up to P1.036 million for the top-of-the-line trim (1.0 Turbo CVT), depending on the body color chosen.
