Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has provided notable improvements on select variants of its current Hilux roster.
The country’s top automotive distributor said that the additional features are set to make it an efficient livelihood partner for business owners.
According to TMP, the 2022 Hilux G now comes with tailgate assist and bedliner – features that were once limited to the nameplate’s GR Sport (GR-S) and Conquest trims.
Apart from that, the Toyota Hilux GR-S and Conquest has been fitted with convenience upgrades as the aforementioned variations now have switches for its adaptive cruise control, and lane departure alert systems. In addition, the Hilux GR-S now has a rear air-conditioning vent to make the drives more comfortable.
Further, the company has equipped the Toyota Hilux Conquest and GR-S variants with more safety features such as pre-collision system. The pick-up’s GR-S option, on the other hand, gets more features with its blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert.
To note, the Toyota Hilux is currently the best-selling pick-up truck in the country, cornering 43 percent of the market for 2022.
All powered by a 2.8-liter four-cylinder, 16-valve double overhead cam variable nozzle turbo with intercooler, the price for the Toyota Hilux G is at P1.285 million, the Conquest variant for P1.68 million, and the GR-S option for P2.039 million.
