Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is helping boost the morale of the Filipino Paralympians who will be competing at the Tokyo Paralympic Games starting tomorrow.
“It’s time to rally behind Team Para Philippines! We wish our National Paralympic Team the best of luck as they carry our flag and compete at the Tokyo Paralympic Games opening tomorrow, August 24,” the leading automotive distributor in the country noted in a statement.
Further, TMP also urged Filipino to “support and follow the journey of the team” — which includes Toyota #StartYourImpossible ambassador para-swimmer Ernie Gawilan — by joining the social media pages of PPC (https://www.facebook.com/philparalympic) and PHILSPADA-Philippine Sports Association for the Differently Abled (https://www.facebook.com/groups/PHILSPADA)
As these athletes left the country recently, the team was seen utilizing the “Start Your Impossible” coaster donated by TMP to the Philippine Paralympic Committee (PPC). The said 29-seater vehicle was given to the athletes in March 2019 as part of its commitment to uplift Parasports in the country as well as promote inclusivity and sustainability to them.
