Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is giving vehicle buyers in the country a more expansive electrified vehicle lineup after it launched the Zenix to the local market.
TMP’s newest offering came following the announcement last week about its official introduction.
A seven-seater hybrid electric vehicle, the all-new Toyota Zenix is aimed to provide the green mobility experience to modern families in the country.
“At Toyota, we believe that giving the customers the power of choice is a good way to help speed up the widespread adoption of electrified vehicles,” TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations Danny Cruz said.
“Our customers have been waiting for a hybrid option that is perfect for more sustainable rides for the whole family, and so we are very proud to welcome this newest model in our MPV category,” he added.
Aside from the all-new Zenix, TMP’s HEV roster includes the Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, Camry and RAV4.
Offered in two variations namely the 2.0 Q Hybrid CVT and 2.0 V CVT, the all-new Toyota Zenix offers space, style, versatility, and comfort that would help provide new experiences for the family.
Considered a beefier version of the Innova, the all-new Toyota Zenix sports a newly-designed grille, alloy wheels (18-inch type for the HEV kind and 17-inch version for the gasoline-powered variant).
Inside, the newly-launched model is fitted with a seven-inch thin film transistor (TFT) multi-info display and a 10.1-inch infotainment system with Wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto connectivity. The HEV option has dark chestnut-colored power-adjustable captain seats.
Other amenities that can be found in the all-new Toyota Zenix include the push start ignition system, electronic parking brake, and smart entry, as well as the panoramic view monitor, blind spot monitor and rear cross traffic alert for the HEV variant.
Further, the vehicle comes with the latest Toyota Safety Sense technologies such as the pre-collision system, lane departure alert, and dynamic radar cruise control to complement the active safety features such as anti-lock braking system and vehicle stability control.
The all-new Toyota Zenix has a starting price of P1.67 million for the 2.0 V CVT and P1.953 million for the 2.0 Q Hybrid CVT. Body color options for the HEV variety are Platinum White Pearl Mica, Blackish Brown Mica, and Dark Steel Mica while the purely-gasoline fed trim comes in Platinum White Pearl Mica, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic, and Attitude Black Mica.
