The Toyota Raize is one of the brand’s latest entries in the local subcompact crossover category.
With features like an aggressive-looking exterior, a decent interior, and a peppy engine, it’s not surprising why many Filipino car buyers have fallen in love with the Toyota Raize.
On top of the said benefits of owning the abovementioned crossover, the Toyota Raize offers its would-be owners seven exciting colors. So, let’s check them out.
This white hue makes the Toyota Raize look like the perfect car for young families. White is often associated with family carriers as the achromatic color is not intimidating, which could be perfect if one is having a hard time making a toddler get in the car.
Red gives the Toyota Raize a more aggressive aura. Additionally, the sharp lines and snappy angles the crossover wears on its exterior go well with this bold and feisty hue.
As one would notice, the front end of the Toyota Raize dons a relatively large trapezoidal grille flanked by two angular headlamps. The somewhat angry-looking fascia is complemented by daytime running lamps and front fog lamps on each side.
The same can be said for its rear as the Toyota Raize also packs a rear end with plenty of sharp geometrical lines.
The Toyota Raize looks like a rough and rugged subcompact crossover in this color.
That said, this tone is perfect for outdoing and outdoorsy car buyers who want a vehicle they can take on trips with families and friends outside of the metro during weekends.
With its MacPherson strut setup at the front and its torsion beam suspensions system at the rear, the Toyota Raize can easily carry up to four passengers for one’s weekend excursions.
Silver has always been related to modernity and technological advancements. On that note, the Toyota Raize does pack some notable features that might impress the tech-savvy car buyer.
Inside are two digital screens: a seven-inch thin-film transistor instrument cluster found past the multi-functional steering wheel and a floating nine-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that sits on top of the dashboard.
This two-tone colorway is part of the three color options offered for the range-topping variant.
White is a color that has also been associated with safety as most studies find that white cars are less involved in accidents.
To note, the Toyota Raize offers safety features such as an improved number of airbags (driver, passenger, side, and curtain shield), a blind spot monitoring system, rear cross-traffic alert, as well as a bolstered suite of parking sensors.
Of course, it does come with standard safety features such as an anti-lock braking system, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist control, and a rear camera.
The Toyota Raize looks like a fun crossover in this blue hue.
The top-of-the-line variant — although equipped with a continuously variable transmission — comes with paddle shifters, which somewhat evokes a go-kart driving experience.
This yellow-and-black color symbolizes the excitement one would enjoy when sitting in the driver’s seat of the Toyota Raize.
Power (for the top-tier model) comes from a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine that makes approximately 96 horsepower and 140 Newton-meters of torque. Now that’s enough power to bring its owners an exciting drive while traveling from point A to point B.
The Toyota Raize has a palette of colors that could provide any type of car buyer one’s preferred hue.
It is offered in four variants and is priced from P751,000 to P1.056 million.
