Toyota has updated the Vietnam-market Vios sedan, revealing a more modern-looking version of the iconic car.
From the outside, the refreshed Vietnam-spec Toyota Vios sports a new gaping grille with large honeycomb patterns. On each of its sides are new headlights that have slight indentations that come from the inner section of the fascia.
Despite having the same pair of taillamps, Toyota Vietnam mentioned that it now wears a slightly tweaked rear bumper. Additionally, it also rides on milled, six-spoke wheels.
Inside, the Vietnam-spec Toyota Vios gets a floating nine-inch infotainment screen. Further, the paddle shifters on the steering wheel (available in select variants) improve the driving experience of its owners.
Rear occupants of the upgraded Toyota Vios in Vietnam also get to enjoy two additional charging ports for added convenience.
“With the desire to meet the increasingly diverse needs of customers, especially young customers, and families, Toyota Vietnam officially introduces the upgrade of Vios 2023 with changes towards a more dynamic design, It is suitable for modern urban life but still has its own personality with outstanding improvements, better meeting the needs of customers,” Toyota Vietnam wrote in a press release.
The new Toyota Vios is now available in Vietnam where it has a base price of Vietnamese dong (VND) 497,000,000 (approximately P1.188 million).
Carmudi Philippines has yet to receive word from Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) if the Vios released in Vietnam will reach our country in the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, we’re keeping our fingers crossed for the updated Vios to land on the country's soil soon.
