UK-spec Mazda CX-60 showcases enhanced Kodo design
Mazda’s UK customers are in for a treat as the brand launches the new CX-60 SUV in the region. According to a press release from Mazda’s European arm, the new CX-60 was launched with Mazda’s first plug-in hybrid technology powertrain and features the latest enhancement of Kodo design.

Deliveries, per Mazda, are expected to begin later this year.From the outside, the UK-spec CX-60 SUV boasts a “deeply sculpted face, long nose, and a short rear silhouette.”
Depending on the variant, customers can get the CX-60 in a gloss black honeycomb grille with a dark-plated front signature wing or a gloss black bar-type grille with a chrome front signature wing. They are flanked by a new front lamp design that features a new headlight arrangement with vertically stacked lamps and an L-shaped lighting signature.
At the rear are signature LED rear combination lights and a power liftgate with hands-free function.
Depending on the variant, the new CX-60 can be had with 18-inch Grey Metallic alloy wheels, 20-inch Silver Metallic alloy wheels, 20-inch Black Metallic alloy wheels, or 20-inch Black Metallic Machined alloy wheels.
Available color options include Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Platinum Quartz, Arctic White, Rhodium White, Machine Grey and Soul Red Crystal.
Inside, the Mazda CX-60 features a refined Japanese design and comes with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather-wrapped shift knob, door trims in vinyl leather, and depending on the variant, black leather seats or white Nappa leather seats.
Across the board, all UK-spec CX-60 SUVs will come with a 12.3-inch TFT display instrument cluster that provides owners with speed, traffic signs and cruise control information. Similarly, all models get a 12.3-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
All variants will be powered by Mazda’s Skyactiv PHEV AWD powertrain system.

This, combined with a permanent all-wheel-drive system incorporating shaft-driven transfer of torque between the axles, gives the car superior handling characteristics on a par with the best in the premium segment,” said Mazda Motors UK Managing Director Jeremy Thomson.
The Mazda CX-60 is available in three variants: Exclusive-Line, Homura, and Takumi. Various packages are offered which include the Comfort Pack, Convenience Pack, and the Driver Assistance Pack.
The price range is from £43,950 to £48,050 while the additional packages would set Mazda’s UK customers back an additional £833.33 to £1,166.67. The Mazda CX-60 is available to order now with deliveries expected to commence in autumn (from September to November).
