United Motors motorcycles officially launched in PH
In the middle of the hustle and bustle of the ongoing Moto Builds Pilipinas at the 2017 Trans Sport Show, United Motors (UM) Motorcycles chose the event to announce its formal launch in the Philippines.
UM is an American motorcycle brand established in Miami, Florida in the early 2000s, with South America as its main market. More recently, UM has entered the European and Middle East markets via Portugal and Kuwait, respectively. Currently, UM has over 1,200 dealerships worldwide.
Exclusively distributed by the Autohub Group--the same company behind not just some of the major automotive dealerships in the country but the distributor of such illustrious brands locally like Lotus, Mini, and Rolls-Royce--UM is its entry into the country's competitive and highly-lucrative sub-P200,000 motorcycle market. For its initial offering, the prices range from P49,900 for the Nitrox 150 to P175,000 for the Adventure TT 150.
UM executives also announced at the launch that, depending on how many units it can sell--and of the market's acceptance of the brand--it plans to put up a manufacturing facility in the country in the near future as well.
UM's first dealership will be located on Ortigas Avenue in the Greenhills area.
