Vespa PH launches i-Get models Primavera, Sprint, Vespa S
Italian brand Vespa is making its presence felt anew after it recently launched three new offerings in the country: the i-Get Sprint, i-Get Primavera, and the Vespa S.
The i-Get (Italian Green Experience Technology) series of the newly-launched Italian scooters are created to deliver more power, but with less impact on the environment. Vespa Philippines--under the Autohub Group--revealed the three new offerings at De Jesus Oval Park, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Autohub Group of Companies and Vespa Philippines President Willy Tee Ten led the unveiling of the upgraded version of the three Italian scooter models, together with new product ambassador, radio jock and celebrity, Sam Gogna.
The engine of the new i-Get system has three valves per cylinder, and utilizes electronic injection and air cooling to optimize performance and output.
With its claim that it is environmentally friendly, the i-Get models complies with Euro 3 emission standards.
To complement the i-Get system, the new models are now equipped with Antilock Braking System (ABS) to give riders more traction when braking, which adds to its maneuverability.
Despite having the latest features on the scooters, the three models still kept its classic aesthetic desgin, giving it a distinct character in today's scooter market. But to cater to electronic device users, the glovebox of all the models has a USB port, which is handy for charging .

The small-bodied i-Get Primavera--one of the most iconic models for the Italian brand--kept its design distinctive as it now features an analogic speedometer and an LCD display that shows time, fuel level, odometer, and trip measurement. Available in Blue Midnight, Monteblanco, Nero Vulcano, Rosso Dragon, and Grigio Titanio, the the I-Get Primavera is priced at P175,000. First introduced in 1963, the new Vespa Sprint is now built with LEDs in front and at the rear which makes it highly-visible in traffic. Pegged at P195,000, the Sprint comes in Rosso Dragon, Grigio Titanio, and Montebianco colors. The most affordable model for Vespa--the Vespa S--is priced at P125,000 and comes in Verde Matt, Grigio Titanio, and Rosso Matt colors. The recent launch of the three revamped models was done a year after the inauguration of the Vespa dealership in the Philippines, which is a stone's throw away from its first showroom. The showroom--located at 26 Street corner 5th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig==previously housed the immediate predecessor of both the Primavera and Sprint. Aside from its presence in Taguig, the full lineup is also available at 324 Ortigas Avenue, North Greenhills San Juan City.
