VinFast adds JIGA to service partner network
MANILA: VinFast further boosted its service network in the Philippines by forging an alliance with MGA.414 Corporation (JIGA auto service chain operator).

The partnership is eyed to help VinFast establish a 100-workshop strong network in the country.The newest service partner will help the Hai-Phong-headquartered electric vehicle marque reach its goal of establishing over 100 service workshops nationwide by the end of 2025.
Based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), VinFast and JIGA will assign service centers that will act as the carmaker’s official service hubs that will accept repair, warranty, and maintenance assistance.
The aforementioned facilities shall meet VinFast’s standards for infrastructure, machinery, equipment, and workforce expertise and prioritize the provision of genuine services and spare parts for owners.
According to VinFast, the pact between the two firms “addresses the growing demand for electric vehicles among Filipino consumers” while reinforcing its long-term commitment and determination to drive green transformation in the country.
Further, VinFast will also provide personnel training programs, technical consultation, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to JIGA.
The Vietnamese automotive marque, considers JIGA an ideal partner “in its mission to penetrate the Philippine market” — noting that the latter currently operates 16 facilities across key regions:
- Luzon (majority in the National Capital Region)
- Visayas (Iloilo, Bacolod, Roxas, Capiz, and Cebu)
“The market for electric vehicles is expanding in the Philippines, and this collaboration with VinFast, a pioneering brand in the electric vehicle industry, is a step toward enhancing JIGA's service capabilities while also enabling us to support the sustainable development trend and offer Filipino consumers the best of the best services. For his part, VinFast Asia Chief Executive Officer Pham Sanh Chau, considers the newly-formed alliance “a strategic step” towards fulfilling its commitment to providing an optimal EV ownership experience for customers in the Philippines.
“We are confident that the combination of VinFast’s green vision and JIGA’s professional service network will mark a significant milestone in promoting sustainable transportation in this market,” he added.
Earlier, VinFast also made Motech (a 63-workshop service workshop chain) its partner in the country.
