Volkswagen expands ID.5 range with new Style trims
Volkswagen has announced the addition of new well-endowed trim levels for the VW ID. 5 SUV coupe: the Style Pro, Style Pro Performance, and GTX Style. The new trims effectively expand the range of the ID.5 family and make the nameplate more accessible to the Wolfsburg-based brand’s customers in the UK.

The ID.5 Style now comes as the family’s entry-level model with the Style Pro sitting below the Tech Pro and Max Pro, the Style Pro Performance placed under the Tech and Max Pro Performance variants, while the GTX Style bumped beneath the GTX Max.
Despite the Style trims being appointed a low rank in the variant hierarchy, it excels over its Tech and Max siblings in terms of range. The Pro and Pro Performance variants of the Tech and Max ID.5’s offer a 131-mile range in a single charge while the Style trim offers 316 miles. Likewise, The ID.5 GTX Max comes with a 296-mile range while the GTX Style offers more with 300 miles.
Even with its entry-level position, the Style trims offer a comprehensive host of equipment, leaving only a few items to be optionally specified.
These include the energy-efficient heat pump (£1,050); 3-pin mains charging cable (£190); Trailer Hitch (£890); and, over the other ID.5 models, the Infotainment Package Plus (£1,350), which adds the acclaimed augmented reality head-up display, as well as a Dynaudio digital sound package and subwoofer.
A number of alternative alloy wheel designs and a vibrant array of paint colors can also be specified optionally, over the model’s standard Moonstone Grey paint and attractive 19-inch “Hamar” wheels.
The UK-spec ID.5 Style Pro, ID.5 Style Pro Performance, and ID.5 GTX Style models are built at VW’s net carbon-neutral Plant in Zwickau, Germany — a factory powered by renewable energy.
The ID.5 Style Pro is priced at £49,735, £3,430 cheaper than the ID.5 Tech Pro and £7,050 cheaper than the ID.5 Max Pro. Meanwhile, the ID.5 Style Pro Performance is offered with a price tag of £51,210 and is likewise £3,430 and £7,050 cheaper than its Tech and Max counterparts. On the other hand, the ID.5 GTX Style is priced at £55,570 and is £6,080 cheaper than the range-topping ID.5 GTX Max.
