German automaker Volkswagen has launched a new dealership concept for its premium performance “R” brand. VW has slapped the R badge on souped-up versions of their current lineup including the Golf R, T-Roc R, New Tiguan R, and the Touareg R.
Volkswagen R is showcasing itself at select dealerships with an exclusive highlight presentation. The new dealership concept will see plenty of dark surfaces and high-quality details which create a premium atmosphere and underscore the brand’s exclusive character.
The first highlight presentation was set up at Volkswagen Automobile Hannover in Lehrte.
Showroom sales manager Tobias Ringmeier is very proud of becoming the first dealership partner to set up the Volkswagen R highlight presentation.
According to Volkswagen, it started receiving order inquiries from all over the world after its R-marque presentation. These orders, says the automaker, will be processed step-by-step by “R-seasoned” dealers.
“For the Volkswagen R, we are drawing on the momentum being generated by our product offensive by offering a new and attractive R highlight platform that can be ordered by every VW dealer around the world,” said Volkswagen R Head of Sales Marketing Peter Jost.
“This will significantly raise customers’ awareness level of the R brand,” he added.
